Leslie Eaves, STEM Instructional Coach

Leslie Eaves, a native of Charleston, SC, holds both a BS and ME in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. She decided to become a teacher in 2002 at Berry Academy of Technology in Charlotte, NC, where she taught courses in the Project Lead The Way® engineering pathway. In 2003 she received an Award for Outstanding First Year Teacher in High School for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District. In 2005 she joined the staff of Atkins School of Engineering to start and coordinate their engineering program. She was honored with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Educational Foundation Building the Future Award for further excellence in STEM education. Recently she joined the staff of the NCNSP as a STEM Instructional Coach working with math teachers in STEM Affinity Schools.
