Designed for a school team including the principal, an influential mathematics teacher, counselor, and district curriculum director.
SLoL is a series of four seminars addressing the following goals:
• To provide school teams with experiences, information, and resources to guide them in key areas shown to have significant impact on secondary students’ mathematical learning.
• To develop each school team’s capacity to work together, as a coherent leadership team, to strategically advance powerful mathematics teaching and learning in their school.
During each session, participants:
• Engage in activities that exemplify the Common Core Mathematical Practices;
• Discuss research articles linked to the essential question for each session;
• Reflect on cases that provide insights into teaching and learning.
The first three sessions will be facilitated with multiple school teams at the locations below. The fourth session will be facilitated on-site at your school with your school team.

Points: 65 per team, up to five*
Registration Fee: $2,100 per team, up to five*
CEU Distribution: 2.5 CEU for participation in all four sessions and completion of all assignments.
*Costs above include an on-site facilitator for Session 4. The principal may exchange core instructional coaching days for the recommended three days of follow up instructional coaching or purchase additional coaching days using points or for a fee.improvement plan. It is expected that teams will continue to meet regularly to lead implementation, study, and refinement of their plan.
