Kenan Fellows accepting applications
December 5, 2012 - The application period for 2013-14 fellowships in the Kenan Fellows Program is now open.
With the generous support of corporate and educational partners, the program is offering more than 50 funded fellowships to North Carolina public school teachers. As part of the 18-month fellowship, teachers gain experience outside of the classroom by partnering with a mentor in research or industry. They also receive 10 days of professional development and a $5,000 stipend. Fellowships are available statewide. Fellows draw from this experience to create engaging curriculum for use in their classrooms and to share with other teachers.
