North Carolina New Schools works with many government and nonprofit partners to create networks of highly successful STEM-focused schools. By collaborating with many other organizations, North Carolina New Schools helps ensure our children have access to the education and training that will prepare them for STEM careers or other fields that require a rigorous education.
At the government/agency level, North Carolina New Schools works closely with:

- Local Education Agencies (LEAs), or school districts, across the state
- The Federal Department of Education, through a Race to the Top grant designed to aid STEM efforts
- The University of North Carolina System
- The North Carolina Community College System

- The North Carolina General Assembly
