The National Early College Conference, co-hosted by Jobs for The Future (JFF) and NC New Schools will convene over 500 early college leaders, school administrators and higher education partners early to explore the policies and practices required to consistently graduate fragile learners and first generation college goers fully prepared for success beyond high school. Through case studies, research, and effective early college designs and supports, participants will explore the development of the early college movement across the country including second-generation models connected deeply to workforce and economic needs. Participants will also contribute to the national dialogue about early college designs that sustain deeply collaborative ties between secondary and post-secondary partners ranging from tier one research universities to rural community colleges and set forth a national agenda to ensure every student graduates ready for college, career and life.
